Shipping Location

Astrid Alchemy only ships to Australian addresses. Please contact us at hello@astridalchemy.com if you have an international shipping query - we will do our best to accommodate your requests. 

Shipping Rates

Australia Post is our delivery partner, and all services are Standard shipping. 

Orders to the value of $150+ will receive free Australia Post Standard shipping. 

Orders below the value of $150 will be charged a flat fee of $15 shipping. 

Order Processing

Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details.

Processing Time: All orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Dispatch and delivery options

We will dispatch orders within 1 to 2 business days. If there is an unforeseen delay to your order, we will reach out to let you know within 5 business days. 

Please note:

  • Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience slightly longer delivery times during peak sales periods, due to wild weather, or due to other postal service delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable events beyond Astrid Alchemy’s reasonable control.
  • Online orders are processed and shipped from Melbourne, Victoria so we will observe all Victorian Public Holidays.

Cancellations 

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your online order. We will endeavour to process your cancellation request in a timely manner, but we will not be able to do so if your order has been processed or dispatched or you have changed your mind.

Authority to leave (ATL)

To opt in to contactless delivery, please select 'Authority to Leave' (ATL) from the available delivery options at checkout. ATL deliveries authorise the delivery driver to leave your parcel in a safe location at the delivery address. Alternatively, you can select to have a signature required on delivery.

What is deemed a safe place?

‘Safe places’ are considered a secure location at your delivery address where your order is hidden from plain view. A safe place can differ between properties dependent on Courier accessibility. Generally, orders left without a signature may be left behind bins, in power boxes, at your back door or porch area and/or near letterboxes.

Dispatch & Delivery Policy

If we become aware of delays with delivery of your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Please allow up to 5 business days from approval of your order for it to arrive before contacting us. Delivery times may vary depending on where you live or other circumstances beyond our control.

Your order will be delivered to your address and may require a signature and identification upon receipt. Please be sure to add all Unit/Apartment number details and business names as appropriate for your order.

If an item has not been delivered, please inform us as soon as possible and we will investigate the issue. 

Shipping costs will not be refunded. 

We are not responsible for incorrect delivery addresses. If an item is undeliverable, you will be responsible for all delivery costs associated with any attempts to re-deliver the item(s) to you.

Examples of where an item or items are undeliverable include (but are not limited to): 

– You did not arrange for redelivery after being notified of a delivery attempt by a postal/courier agency; 

– A card was left but you did not collect the package up from the location set out in the card; 

– You are not known at the delivery address provided by you or you have moved. 

If an item is damaged, incorrect or faulty, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery. You must comply with directions or instructions given by us in relation to returning the damaged, faulty or defective item(s) to the manufacturer or us. 

Tracking your order

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your package through the tracking number that we’ve sent you in your email order confirmation. 

Lost in transit policy

Once your order leaves the doors of our warehouse, our third party delivery teams do everything possible to meet our expected shipping times, however occasionally packages are lost. If your order has not arrived by the expected date, please reach out to our customer service team. Astrid Alchemy will help as much as is reasonably necessary to trace a missing parcel. Packages can only be considered lost in transit after 15 days from the dispatch date. Astrid Alchemy is not responsible for in-transit delays, lost or damaged shipments or orders sent to incorrect addresses, invalid addresses or correct addresses.

Shipping to multiple addresses

We are unable to process split shipments within one order at this time. If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, you can do this by creating separate orders, each with their own delivery address.
