+ Remove the lid and internal grinding sleeve so all 3 elements are seperate
+ Place the dried herb in the bottom of the base section
+ Insert the grinding sleeve into the base section teeth first
+ Twist the base section and grinding sleeve in opposite directions to grind the herb
+ Once ground to your liking, remove the herb, re-assemble the storage case and place your herb inside the grinding sleeve
+ Place the lid and twist to seal closed ensuring it catches on the locking mechanism
